Come home to yourself through the practice of yoga
"With prayers for divine blessings, now begins an exposition of the sacred art of yoga" Sutra 1.1 / Atha Yoganusasanam
hOMe yoga began in my house in 2016. My husband and I bought a firehouse for his business during the pandemic. As things have unfolded, the warehouse part of the Firehouse has turned into hOMe yoga so I could have a bigger space.
The beautiful area has a high ceiling, heat, and air conditioning. My love of plants has influenced the room with many plants, including a plant wall. hOMe yoga has a rope wall, trestle, and many other wood props for modifications and therapeutics. We have bolsters, blankets, blocks, foam rollers, lacrosse balls, and many other props that help alleviate pain, achieve poses, and support the body.
With my training as a CIYT, I have learned many different modifications for ailments, and as an NCMT I am passionate about helping people on their healing journey so they can achieve wellness.
